How Our Network Works

Request an estimate

Homeowner checking a thermostat while a provider looks over an outdoor AC unit in Eagle Mountain

Who you talk to

You talk to two parties. First, Fighterspost Heating & Air takes your request and sorts the job. Then you talk to an independent provider in our network. The provider is a local business, and the provider does the work.

What happens next

You describe the problem. It might be a warm AC, a loud furnace, or an old system that keeps failing. We share a few safe checks. Swap the filter. Clear the area around the unit. Test the thermostat. If those don't fix it, we connect you with a provider. That provider will usually ask a few questions and set a time to look at the system.

What to ask a provider

A good call is a short list. Keep it handy:

  • Are you licensed and insured in my state?
  • What does the visit involve, and what might it cost?
  • Will you put the quote in writing before work starts?
  • What drives the price up or down on this job?
  • Is the repair worth it, or should I think about replacing?
  • What does the work come with, and who handles problems later?

Quote in writing. Typical U.S. repair visits can run from under a couple hundred dollars to over a thousand, and full system replacements often run several thousand. Your job may differ, so get the number on paper.

Know the line

Do the small stuff yourself. Replace a filter. Clear snow, leaves, or debris from the outdoor unit. Reset the thermostat. Stop at gas smells, burning odors, sparks, or refrigerant. Those are provider jobs, and some need you to leave the house first.

You are in control

You don't have to hire anyone. You can compare quotes. You can say no. A request to Fighterspost Heating & Air is not a contract, and any agreement is between you and the provider.
